1. Quinquennial program for the junior priests was held from 20th to 23rd October, 2016 at Poornodaya Bhopal. Rev. Fr. Vicar General inaugurated the session with an orientation talk. Fr. Paulson Muthupeedika, Director, Sanjeevani Usri, gave a talk on Spirituality of a CMI Religious Priest. Rev. Dr. Benny Thattayil CMI addressed the gathering on Pastoral Ethics for Qualitative Relationship. It was followed by personal sharing of 35 young priests based on their religious priestly life experiences. The program was over with a mission visit to Silwani, Prathapgarh, Searmau, Bhamori and Sanchi.
2. The canonical visitation in Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kochi and Muvattupuzha provinces was held from 13th to 29th October, 2016. In all the provinces, the Prior General and the General Auditor gave their feedback of the canonical visitation in the province gathering or superiors' meeting.
3. The meeting of the Administrative Council of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara Pilgrim Centre, Mannanam, was held on 21 October, 2016 at St. Joseph Monastery, Mannanam. Rev. Fr. Saju Chackalackal, General Councilllor and Convener of the Administrative Council presided over the meeting.
4. Enrichment program for CMI College-going Scholastics in North India was held from 28th to 30th October, 2016 at Poornodaya, Bhopal. Fr. Varghese Vithayathil, Vicar General inaugurated the program and gave the orientation. Rev. Fr. Paulson Thaliyath, the General Formation Coordinator organized the program and explained the dynamics. Rev. Fr. Benny Thettayil, gave a talk on Ethics for Qualitative Relationship for CMI Scholastics. Rev. Fr. Anil Mathew, Provincial Councillor, Bhopal Province, enlightened on CMI Social Concern during the Secular studies. It was followed by personal sharing on "Lived CMI Religious Life" by the 24 participants. Congratulations to Rev. Fr. Vicar General and Rev. Fr. Paulson Thaliyath, General Formation Coordinator for the effective organization.
5. The Pre Ordination Course for CMI deacons will be held at CSR from 1st to 19th November, 2016.
6. The enrichment program for CMI College going Scholastics in South India will be held from 11 - 13 November, 2016 in Chavara Hills, Kakkanad.
7. The feast of St. Thomas, the Apostle, will be held on 27th November, 2016 at Mar Thoma Pontifical Shrine, Azhikode. Harmony Festival will be held from 18th to 20th November with music, dance and folklore programmes on each day.
8. The meeting of the provincial councilors of social apostolate will be held in Rajkot along with Rev. Fr. Vicar General on 5th November, 2016.
9. The postponed Education Summit will be held on 12, 13 and 14th May, 2017 at Christ University Engineering College (Devadan Campus), Bangalore.
10. A preparatory meeting for the Educational Summit will be held in Chavara Hills on 5th and 6th January, 2017. Dr. Valsan Thampu, former Principal of St. Stephen's College, Delhi, will address the gathering on the Mission of Education. The Educational Councillors and representatives from each province will attend the gathering to initiate discussion in the Provincial Synaxis.

. Rev. Sr. Rani HCS (54), the beloved sister of Rev. Fr Thomas Chathamparampil CMI (St. Joseph's Province, TVM), was called to eternal rest on 16.10.2016.
. Mrs. Mariakkutty (92), beloved mother of Rev. Fr Francis Akkapady CMI (Rajkot Province) slept in the Lord on 21.10.2016.
