CMI Education Summit was held in Christ University, Kengery Campus, Bangalore from September 30 to October 2, 2017. Rev. Fr. Prior General inaugurated the meeting. Prof. John Varghese, Principal, St. Stephen’s College, Delhi gave the keynote address on the Mission of Christ. Rev. Fr. Sebastian Thekkedathu, Rev. Fr. Ignasi Muthu SJ, Rev. Fr. Saji Varghese SDB, Sir Guilherme Vaz, Prof L. M Prasad and Mrs. Diana Joseph presented the papers on very relevant themes. Group discussion and presentation on the best practices in CMI institutions were held. 150 CMI educators attended the program apart from the Major Superiors, General Council team, and the Rectors of Major Study Houses. Thanks to Christ University team for hosting the event. Congratulations to Rev. Fr. Sebastian Thekkedathu, General Councillor for organizing such historic CMI Education Summit. A draft declaration on Bangalore Summit was approved by the gathering.
