Feast of our Lady of Immaculate Conception!

post
Dear Rev. Fathers and Brothers
Wish you the blessings and greetings of the feast of our Lady of Immaculate Conception!
Our founding fathers ever wanted to be worthy children of an immaculate mother. That prompted them to lead an incorrupt life even by being away from the corrupt and corrupting world. Despite all the great accomplishments even by worldly standards, St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara said, “I can tell you with confidence that I have never lost the baptismal grace I received in baptism”.
“How sublime and praiseworthy is the religious state, which you have embraced!” (St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara Letter, VII, 2). CMIs are challenged today to be free of corruption in our personal and community lives and in our institutions. Otherwise we betray our immaculate mother and graceful founder. Let us renew our vows and witness an authentic life moving away from corruption and being sensitive to the needs and signs of the times.
Let us pray and strengthen our 76 novices who commit themselves to the Lord through their first profession.
“Blessed is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you.” (Luke 11:27). May our heavenly mother be blessed by our saintly life!
